Foodbank

Coordinator(s): Trisha Jarman and Gwen Drain

Holy Trinity is part of the Tameside East Foodbank, working together with New Life Church Ashton and St John’s Dukinfield. Those in need of emergency food can collect three days’ worth for the whole family from any one of these centres by presenting a Voucher which is given out by a collection of professionals in health, education, social housing, welfare and benefits agencies. A further two emergency vouchers can be issued to any individual by which time we hope that the emergency crisis will be over.  The Foodbank volunteers will also direct people to other agencies who may be able to help.

Food is donated through churches, individuals and from supermarket collections. We are always grateful for any donations of food which can be made directly to any of the churches involved. Click here [make into link] for a list of foods that would be helpful.
